Behavioral healthcare projects are an emerging and important new sector of KSK’s dynamic 45-year practice. From clinics and counseling spaces to supportive housing for veterans and people with persistent mental illness, the firm is building a strong reputation designing facilities for special needs populations KSK’s Director of Planning and Urban Design, Paul Vernon, is a registered architect and was co-author of Envisioning Living Environments for People with Mental Illness, a best practices and design guidelines paper presented at the National Council for Behavioral Healthcare and published in Behavioral Healthcare magazine.
